Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc was the single wine that introduced New Zealand wines to the world with a bang. At the time, it was a revelation to have such pronounced flavours and tastes; when people tried it they wanted more, and so the Kiwi wine industry was born. The owner, Kevin Judd, sold Cloudy Bay to a large wine company and then set up Greywacke a smaller boutique winery. This stunning wine has fresh, zesty aromas of green apples and lemons. It’s very crisp and dry, with lemon & lime, greengage and minerally flavours – and a huge finish. Savour a true Modern Classic. Enjoy this wine, on its own, with goats cheese salad or fresh grilled asparagus.
