Our Rating – ★★★★★
Aroma – Citrus fruit, herbal tea
Grape – Verdejo
Taste – Creamy, delicate body, intense, long finish
Pair with – Apertif, smoked salmon
Here the native grape Verdejo is used to produce a cracker of a wine. Vibrant gooseberry and lemon sherbet aromas leap from the glass. Zesty, fresh, lemon/lime and kiwi fruit flavours wake up your mouth. This is wine to make you feel happy and is a lovely example of both the wines of Rueda, and ‘new wave’ Spanish winemaking.
